Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A new gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how education can strengthen coexistence.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement.
